Hotel De Nieuwe Doelen is a two-minute walk from the station and the center. Our cozy family hotel is located in a listed building on one of the most beautiful quays in Middelburg and has 34 modern rooms, a popular bar, a cozy lounge, a heated terrace, a sunny garden and 80m2 of luxurious private wellness with hydrotherapy massage bath, Finnish barrel sauna and steam shower. In the basement of the hotel there is a nice accommodation for all kinds of festive occasions.

Cocktail, beer and bites
The cozy and popular bar is a meeting point for many local and regular (often international) guests.
The guests like to come together for a snack and a drink and a chat. Lovers of beer even have the choice of up to 50 types of beer! And cocktail lovers have a choice of up to 40 cocktails.
The heated terrace at the front is open all year round. The quiet and sunny garden at the rear is open in the summer months. Here you can also have a delicious breakfast in good weather.
We have our own closed bicycle shed for cyclists.
By car? There are plenty of (safe) parking opportunities near the front of the hotel.
